My cousin sent this one to me. I love friends and I love fried chicken (it is my death row meal), but “friend chicken” scares me a little bit. Again, the word is not misspelled, it is just not the right word. You need to read for context to make sure it is the right word.
Even though I am pretty old, even I know that the artist “The Weeknd” is spelled differently than this news station apparently does.
While I agree I am NEVER too old for Disney, I also know that NEVER is spelled with only one “r.”

This time, I’m pretty sure the aliens made them do it, but here is a recent news story locally.
This was a news alert I received. The first paragraph looks like it was rewritten a few times, but no one actually read it before it was published. I understand they are trying to get stories out quickly, but getting them out accurately also counts for a lot.
My trusty news station comes through again.
I’ve checked several sources, and Washington, D.C. has periods–not a dash. Sometimes it is used with no punctuation–DC–but still not with a dash.
